The third birthday of the Bayswater Train Station is fast approaching, and local Member for Bayswater, Jackson Taylor, is throwing a birthday party.

The State Government removed the level crossings on Mountain Highway and Scoresby Road in Bayswater in 2016, following a massive 37 day construction blitz. It reopened on December 12 that year.And to help celebrate this milestone, Mr. Taylor will be throwing a birthday party at the station, complete with cake and a sausage sizzle.

This event is open to all members of the community, on Saturday 7th of December, from 10am to 11am at Bayswater Train Station.

Since coming to government in 2014, the Andrews Labor Government has removed 30 dangerous and congested level crossings, with two in Bayswater being some of the first to be removed. This has meant that locals in Bayswater have no longer been stuck at these dreaded crossings.

The State Government has pledged to remove 75 level crossing by 2025, making sure you get home sooner and safer, and creating thousands of good, well-paying construction jobs for local tradies.
